New Naming Rights Partner Announced

Luzerne County Convention Center Authority voted on November 11 and named Mohegan Sun as the new naming rights partner for the arena in Luzerne County for the next ten years. The official name of the venue, Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, will take effect on January 20, 2010.

Are the events going to change now that there is a new name? I come to yearly events there such as Disney On Ice and hope that it continues with Mohegan Sun having their name on the building.

Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza just doesn't have the ring of Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza. It is still a great arena.
