In honor of the upcoming 10th Anniversary of the Luzerne County Convention Center's opening night in November of 1999, and to say thank you to the residents of Northeast Pennsylvania for their support of the arena, the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza will host an "Open House Festival"on Sunday, November 8th from 12PM-3PM with free admission to the general public.

The 10th Anniversary Open House Festival will mark just the second time in arena history, and first time since the venue opened, that the arena will open its doors to the general public for self-guided tours of the facility.

In addition, the 10th Anniversary Open House will feature the following:

• Live entertainment provided by Entercom Communications featuring:
-Country music artist Easton Corbin on stage at 12:30PM.
-Country music artists Steel Magnolia on stage at 1:15PM

 -Contemporary artist Jessie James on stage at 2:00 PM

• A silent auction with gift baskets and other memorabilia from various shows and sponsors with all proceeds being donated to the "Luzerne County Convention Center Community Fund of the Luzerne Foundation" in support of local youth education and local libraries.

• A chance to win a 2010 Nissan Sentra courtesy of Ken Pollock Nissan in Wilkes-Barre. Random winners through various media promotions will be selected over the next few weeks to qualify for a 1 in 10 chance of winning the vehicle. All guests ages 16 and over attending the Open House will have an opportunity to be the final random participant in the contest for the car.
